I'm sick of hearing the tired crack of bone
such a lonely sound and such an empty tone
our habits have us stronger than you know
but I'm drawing these maps all alone

like any other day but the rain out side is strange
is there any doubt we need to change?
if I stay inside tonight maybe I will know
why we feel so cold

me I'm disorder
drifting the water
my weightlessness is bliss
the ocean wants a kiss
but I cannot move my lips

give up
you're in your head and getting stuck
on graveyards and glassy touch
you can talk to god but he don't say much

devour me so I really know
what it is that makes us feel so low
are you sick of speech and talking to cold souls?
the prepared, the careful, the owned?

well I've become a deserter
scared of the water
that gathers in the cloud
and never rains down
just ominous purple black

give up
life's a ghost town with no one around
just goose flesh in horrible mounds
and we know but don't like how it sounds

we are still so colourful
a bright parade of zest
we plan to pave the trails we blaze
end up here with the rest
I look around and see my friends as faulty as my self
so full of holes we do not fill and our passions left on shelves
lock away yeah far away in these brooding purple clouds
that hover above
and they never rain down
